The Health and Recreation team, in partnership with TAFE NSW Jobs Connect, have organised industry visits for their students to Virgin Active facilities in Sydney. These ‘meet the employer’ sessions provide an opportunity for students to get to hear what Virgin Active does, get to experience what it’s like in one of their centres, and they get an overview of what it’s like to work in the industry. Many students aren’t sure when they come out of their course exactly what all the career options may be and what are the main things they should be considering before they embark on a career within the fitness industry.
