These 8-bit video game inspired illustrations are my take based on Jim Phillips skateboarding graphics from the 1980's. They are based on pixel creation from his existing graphics, entered into a competition to win prizes distributed by Santa Cruz Skateboards. The brief explained: "For your chance to win, post something creative that's inspired by the Screaming Hand. It could be a tatt, drawing, skate picture, poem, story, whatever, as long its inspired by the Screaming Hand.
