I recently worked on a series of video banners for the Ettalong Diggers Club 2025 website rebuild. The project included five unique banner videos, each designed to feature across different pages of the site. Filming covered a range of visuals, including drone footage capturing the exterior of this stunning Central Coast location, as well as interior shots showcasing the club’s entertainment, bars, dining, live music and more. Each video was carefully edited and packaged to fit seamlessly within the club’s branded web sliders. You can explore the final results across the following pages: Banner video 1: Get along to Ettalong ettalongdiggers.com Banner video 2: Delicious breakfast by the beach ettalongdiggers.com/cafe Banner video 3: Take your pick of our bars ettalongdiggers.com/bars Banner video 4: Local flavours on tap ettalongdiggers.com/locals-on-tap Banner video 5: There's always something on! ettalongdiggers.com/whats-on Location: Ettalong, Central Coast NSW Filmed by: Ben Buchanan Equipment: Panasonic GH5 Company: Ettalong Diggers Industry: Clubs & Recreation I recently had the opportunity to film a piece-to-camera at the Nepean TAFE NSW campus and edit a video for the Diploma of Nursing enrolment series. I recently had the opportunity to work on aerial drone background footage for Lemmy’s sandwich store in Terrigal, capturing stunning beachside scenes along the Central Coast. This reel was created to celebrate their launch day and exciting collaboration with Milk Lab.
Please note: The 3D can animation featured in the video was not created by me. Filmed by Ben Buchanan with DJI drone equipment Link: lemmysofficial.com I created 3 x 2D cartoon animations for the TAFE NSW Jobs Connect Festival to help students tailor resumes, write cover letters and build interview confidence - all in a fun, engaging format. I've been creating motion graphics reels designed to capture the energy of live music, bands, and gigs.
Below are two examples of social media promo reels created to promote live gigs. Reel 1 – Hell on Earth at The Burdekin, Sydney Reel 2 – Culture of Hate at Mumbos, Terrigal Edited by Ben Buchanan using Adobe After Effects 2025 I reached out to Murray wanting to film something new and creative, so he invited me to the workshop to film and edit. This video is a short introduction into shaping wooden climbing holds with care and precision all done from a single car garage on the Central Coast NSW Australia. From natural grain to hand-crafted fun, its all about craftsmanship that performs. Date: 2025 Filmed by: Ben Buchanan Equipment: Panasonic GH5 Edited by: Ben Buchanan Company: Bloc Cartel Industry: Sports Link: instagram.com/bloccartel.holds Watch Bloc Cartel shape wooden climbing holds with care and precision. From natural grain to hand-crafted form, it’s all about craftsmanship that performs. I designed and laid out the promotional flyer for the Hell on Earth gig at Burdekin on August 9th.
The design features a supplied hi-res live photo of the band, which I posterised and added textures to, creating a retro aesthetic similar to that of classic band posters. The flyer utilises a 2 colour design scheme with strong gradients, enhancing the overall visual impact while maintaining an underground vibe. The design also incorporates the original band logos (created by others), ensuring that the flyer stays true to the band’s branding while serving as an eye-catching advertisement for the show. Both designed as a social media square tile and also a ticketed website banner. |
